Enrollment
The Little Barnyard welcomes children who are potty trained up to school age. We are licensed for up to 14 children per class. In the summer, we enroll 14 children per class. In the school year, we enroll between 8 and 13 children per class.
Enrollment for upcoming summer and fall school-year sessions begins during the last week of January for those families who are currently attending.
Enrollment begins during the first week of February for families who have attended in the past.
Any remaining spots are filled by the “wait pool.” Please contact April Hepokoski at april@thelittlebarnyardpreschool.com to be placed on the wait pool list.
Paperwork and enrollment fee
Once you have received official confirmation during the enrollment period (January/February) that your child has a spot in a class, you will then be sent paperwork to complete and return along with a registration fee of $150 to secure your child’s spot. The registration fee does not apply to your child’s tuition and is non-refundable. A registration fee is required for both the summer and school year sessions.
Calendar and tuition
Holiday closures: We follow Esko Public Schools’ break, in-service, and holiday school closure schedule, along with their severe weather closures. Please click here for 2025-2026 School Calendar.
Tuition is due on the first of each month. The full tuition amount may be paid in full at the beginning of the session. Tuition includes unexpected closures for snow days.
